Say goodbye to 2025 and hello to 2026. Hopefully it’ll be a little bit better year or if it just wasn’t as God awful as this year, that would be an improvement. It seems like everybody’s in shock. We have never gone through anything like this before in our country. I had a friend I worked construction with, and his evaluation of most everything not of his liking was “that’s fucked up”. ok how was today ... good for me. slept like crap but feel good as of now. got my recreative mini server up and running. i'll tell you the highlights and let you dig into the ai thread. I could not have done this without 'gemini' helping ... alot. i have 4 different 'services' running on the mini linux box. i added 2 ssd drives and installed ubuntu 22 from a thumb drive. some how i ended up putting the system/files and the essential files on one of the ssd drives. the original internal ssd is only used to facilitate backing up drive 1 to drive 2. it creates a .tar.gz file of the PDS files and my home directory.
i have been playing with cloudflare-d tunnels and once I found the right combinations that worked it was easy to replecate. i have a really cool genealogy program 'geneweb' its writed in OCaml which is pretty cool too. here is a sample dbase
